Remembering Hurricane Katrina

Hurricane season is upon us and Irene, barreling up the East Coast, won't let us forget it.

Another storm I hope we never forget is Hurricane Katrina. For all that was lost this fateful week six years ago, let us always remember the solidarity of citizens, the help that can be given, the hope that can be shared and the determination of the people of that historic and legendary city.

Notes from the Litter Box: Where's the love?

Hello faithful readers,

It’s Eddie here and I have some disturbing news.

Earlier this week, something terrible happened in the office. If you ask the humans, they’ll say it was a fabulous night filled with laughter and good friends, but for me…oh, I shudder to think of it.

You see, friends, I have long held the belief that I am the top cat around here. It’s always been this way and nobody has given me the impression that this would ever change. Until Wednesday night.

M is for Mailings

M is also for Missing In Action, which I feel like I've been these past few weeks. So, before the fall season gets into full swing, I'd like to show you what our mailings are all about and maybe the next time I disappear it won't be quite as mysterious!

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the first post in a series I like to call “P is for Publicity: All the stuff we do to get the word out on these awesome books short of tattooing the covers on our foreheads.” Or...just "P is for Publicity."
