Read-A-Thon: My Dog Can't Read

Since my dog can't read, he is not able to fully appreciate the joys of a 24 hour Read-A-Thon and desperately wants to go to the dog park.

How could I possibly say no to this adorable face?! So off to the dog park we go, book in hand for me, and for you, I give you Atlanta Falcons Thomas DeCoud reading Bark Park. This video is part of our Read With a Falcon program. You can see all the books read here.

  1. cute! Nope, I couldn't say no either! Keep up the great reading and have a fun walk!

  2. What a cutie!

I plan to take a break with my dog a little bit later. It'll be our first walk of the season.

  3. Cute dog! An audio book would be good for moments like that.

  4. I took my book to the dog park. It worked pretty well! Only a few interruptions!

  5. aww, I wouldn't be able to resist that face, either. Happy reading!

  6. Aw, definitely couldn't say no to him. Keep up the great reading!

  7. a word, a sentence, a paragraph, a page. . .
continue on to the final sigh of contentment
and then do it again. :)

  8. The reading will stop
Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow
your book count will be higher
    Just keep thinking about tomorrow
all the great books you will have to talk about
    with your blog friends
If you get blurred or sore, or sleepy
    Just stick up your chin
    and grin
    and say
My TO BE READ PILE, Tomorrow
will be smaller than it was before
    and your spirits will soar
because then TOMORROW, TOMORROW You can go shopping TOMORROW at Amazon and BUY SOME MORE!

    :D lol

  9. Good for you! I know my puppy doesn't appreciate Read-A-Thon, either. I do think I posted a photo of him attempting to read during one of the latest readathons, tho... Might have to go look.
HAPPY READaTHON to both of you! Humans and canines should be READING.
